Okay, I am not really someone who hates the holiday season. I actually really like the holiday season. But this week has me wanting to channel Plato, the official Tort(e) food taste tester of all non-chocolate food items, and do this instead of anything else:
This guy just sleeps about 20 hours of the day. Eats for 1 hour of the day. Begs for food for 1 hour of the day and spends the remaining two hours either playing or doing security detail around the house. Its a nice life.
I have been having a very difficult week at work this week. Projects that I have been working very hard on are not going as well as I hoped they would. I have a final exam for a certification class I am taking due on Friday. People I work with will not be available because they are all taking time off for the holidays. Oh yeah, I have no vacation time because I need to save it for next year. But more about that whole thing later. Add on top of that a severe back injury that makes it hard to do just about anything for more than two minutes and you are basically where I am right now.
So in a nutshell: I am stressed.
This means it is time to return to the kitchen and get blogging again. If sugar, butter and chocolate cannot help things get better, I don't know what can. So watch for some new posts this week. And hopefully this will keep up. Because I have been neglecting my bakeware for far too long...
