Do something good

Hey there everyone.  Its been a while since I have posted anything here.  Here is a quick rundown of the last three months of my life: I had a baby.  She is the most wonderful thing that has ever happened.  She is the cutest and smartest child in the world, in my unbiased opinion.

Other things that are less happy have happened since my last post.  People have been persecuted all over the world.  Syria has been markedly absent from the news these days (as has Burma/Myanmar), but the government is still doing horrible things to people there.  The Asad regime needs to be held accountable and the people of Syria need help.

This is where you come in.  My friend Savera is currently doing a campaign on her accessories that she sells. She is amazing.  Her jewelry is gorgeous and totally unique.  Her knitwear is cozy and stylish.  Her baby items... oh my god the cuteness.  Until Saturday (i know, its so soon!) she is donating HALF of the proceeds from all sales to the relief effort in Syria.  Its a good cause and a way to get something amazing for yourself or a friend.

Her rings are gorgeous and many of them are one of a kind.  Who wants to be seen wearing that same ring that 500 other people bought at the mall?  Not you.  

Her baby gifts are too cute for words.  My daughter has a peng.min and loves it.  She also has an owl blanket that you HAVE to check out at her store.  Its the best thing for tummy time and absolutely adorable! With our cold Midwestern winters, I am definitely going to look into one of those cowls for my little baby Scrunches.

Men can get in on the action too!  Knit cowls are very stylish and will keep any guy looking hot and feeling warm.  The knit caps are also an on trend fall and winter must!

 The necklaces. Oh my God the necklaces.  I have one from her store (not pictured here) and I love it.  I always get compliments on it. :)
